You'd think the neo-Nazis would be angry about this
Or else Putin is lying about Ukraine having a "Nazi" government.
[Note: I don’t do “trigger warnings” very often, but this post includes screenshots taken from grossly antisemitic websites. Worse, there’s also a recent photo of David Duke that will haunt your dreams. - DP]
The government of Ukraine is run by neo-Nazis, saith Vladmir Putin and echoed by his fellow travelers on the political fringes.
If that’s true, I figured actual neo-Nazis and Holocaust deniers would be frothing rage at the Russians attacking the Nazi state they’ve dreamed about so long. Why, David Duke is probably strapping on his body armor right now and finding a way to sneak into Ukraine to fight in defense of his Ukranian allies.
Or maybe not:
Huh. Maybe his Gab account (of course he’s on Gab) was hacked, or all the plastic surgery has finally driven him a little mad. Well, madder.
Okay, but that’s one Nazi. What about the CEO of Gab, the fringiest of the fringe extreme-right Twitter clones? Surely he’s standing up for his Nazi comrades in Kyiv, right?
Right?
Huh. Another neo-Nazi supporting the military invasion of a country we’ve been told is run by neo-Nazis.
Then there’s Andrew Anglin of the aptly named Daily Stormer. I bet he’s fighting alongside “Right Sector” right at this very- [record scratch]
“Fake Country of Ukraine?” Maybe when you read his post he offers an explanation for oh you have got to be freaking kidding me:
The guy who runs a website called The Daily Stormer, literally a reference to Nazi Germany, is accusing Ukraine of being run by neo-Nazis, which you’d think he’d consider a good thing but they’re actually controlled by teh Joos but hopefully Russia will hold a “real election” which could eventually lead to the restoration of the Communist USSR which the original Daily Stormers tried to destroy.
You know, I’m just throwing this out there, but maybe it’s not the government of Ukraine but the government that financially supports extreme-right movements all over Europe and allows American neo-Nazi organizations to be run remotely from its own territory who should be compared to the Nazis. Just a thought.
And now, after perusing that corner of the internet, I need a shower.

They’re against sanctions against Russia because they think sanctions only hurt ordinary Russians. But they support sanctions against Israel because they want to hurt ordinary Israelis. This shouldn’t be hard to understand, people.
I only read what little you shoveled from that corner. And I need a shower.
