Why Whoopi said what she said

There’s something so perfect (in a “you can’t make this up” sense) about a celebrity savaging that Tennessee school board that removed Maus from the curriculum and in the process making her own ill-advised, offensive statement about the Holocaust. That the celebrity adopted “Goldberg” as a stage name is a bonus. I’m actually surprised it happened on television and not Twitter.
