Canada’s political default setting is Liberal: They’re called the “Natural Governing Party” for a reason.

The Liberals have had their ups and downs, like every political party, but just like the cat in The Cat Came Back we just can’t get rid of them. Written off for dead late last year - I may or may not have posted some snarky comments on social media about how they might finish fourth in the next election - the resignation of Justin Trudeau and election of Mark Carney as party leader halted the slide.
