Weather gone wild

If I ever doubted that climate change is happening, I don't after this summer.

I’m back in Halifax after giving you guys a few days’ reprieve, and from all indications, this was the best-timed vacation ever.

Here in Canada we complain that you Americans barely seem to know we exist, but when you do notice us, it’s usually because of something bad. And, in 2023, weather-related.

Also: this must be the first time in history that someone left mainland Canada for Newfoundland to get better weather. Back on The Rock, we were under heat warnings every day.

Which poses its own problems. Fortunately, my shoulders and upper back are starting to heal.
