The Pogrom Was The Point
If a Palestinian state was the goal, October 7 failed. If the goal was murder for its own sake, it succeeded.
As someone who’s represented many parents in child-protection proceedings, I’ve often come across situations where my client, in a fit of righteous rage, will scream obscenities and accusations and insults at the social worker handling his or her case. And it often results in a conversation like this:
“So it says here that you told the social worker she’s a miserable evil c**t who’s trying to take your kids away from you for no reason.”
“Because she is! She’s biased against me!”
“I understand you’re angry about this. I’m a father myself and I’d be pissed off if my kids were taken from my care. But do you think that was a good idea?”
“But it’s true! I have a right to my opinion!”
“Of course you have the right to express your feelings. But the social worker is going to help decide whether and when the kids will be returned to you, right?”
“She wants to take my kids away from me!”
“Even if that were true, it won’t look good for you in court if you’re screaming at her and insulting her.”
