I got an email the other day saying that Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. would be a guest on conservative commentator Mark Steyn’s TV show, to discuss his book The Real Anthony Fauci, and I thought, yep, we’re definitely in the middle of a massive political realignment.
What principle RFK, Jr. and his pals are organising around, aside from pure nihilism, I have no idea. But for anyone who remembers when he parlayed his famous name into activism for ostensibly progressive, left-wing causes, it’s a bit surprising to see him welcomed into the far-right fold:
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. strode onto the stage at a Southern California church, radiating Kennedy confidence and surveying the standing ovation crowd with his piercing blue Bobby Kennedy eyes. Then, he launched into an anti-vaccine rant. Democrats "drank the Kool-Aid," he told people assembled for a far right conference, branded as standing for "health and freedom."
