Everyone watching yesterday’s British Grand Prix got that sinking feeling in the pit of their stomachs when the broadcast wouldn’t show a replay of Zhou’s wreck, nor say whether he had gotten out of the car or was even still conscious. Last time I felt like that was during the 2020 Daytona 500, after which I went to bed thinking I had just watched Ryan Newman lose his life.
Newman walked out of the hospital a few days later.
