It wasn’t too long ago that quarterback Shadeur Sanders, son of NFL legend Deion Sanders, was predicted to go first overall in the 2025 NFL draft.
Then a consensus emerged that he’d be one of the first players chosen in the draft.
Then it was predicted he’d go late in the first round.
After the first round came and went without Sanders being chosen by an NFL team, we all assumed he’d be chosen early in the second round by a team which really needs a new QB, with the Browns, Raiders and Saints as likely landing spots.
Day two of the draft came and went, with the Browns, Raiders and Saints all choosing their quarterbacks of the future, none of whom were named Sanders.
With rounds four through seven starting in a few hours, and the number of teams in need of a QB plummeting (Pittsburgh? The Jets, as usual?) we now find ourselves wondering if Sanders will be drafted *at all*.
