The far-right wins in Austria, and an incident in neighboring Germany helps explain why.

My Twitter timeline this weekend was dominated by left-wingers rending their garments in anguished grief about the long-overdue death of Hassan Nasrallah, an extreme right-wing religious conservative who wanted to turn the Middle East into a theocracy through violence; and, this tweet from left-wing writer Clara Jeffery, who fears that a flight attendant saying “have a blessed night” means she is extreme right-wing religious conservative who wants to turn America into a theocracy through politeness.
