The first 24 minutes of the debate have been about the 2020 election, which is actually what @DavidPerdueGA wants to talk about. Kemp tried to pivot to jobs and the economy. #gapol

First of all, as a rule, I’ll take the Republican who sucks but at least concedes that the 2020 election was not stolen, and actually did his duty when the time came to verify the results, over the Republican who very much insists that the election was indeed stolen and would do everything in his power to make sure the “right” person wins next time around.

That doesn’t mean I want Kemp to be re-elected, but compared with David Perdue he’s the less-bad option. (Stacey Abrams is the less-less-bad option, despite her own history of whining about elections being stolen from her. American politics in 2022, man.)

The second, and more important reason to hope Kemp wins the nomination, is because Donald Trump is going to completely lose his [BLEEP] and it’s going to be absolutely amazing to watch.
