It’s that last week of the year, between Christmas and New Year’s, when we’re still digesting our massive Christmas feasts and getting used to the next-generation game consoles Santa managed to track down for us. And that’s when writers put together their “year in review” pieces. See here. And here. And here. And here.

The consensus seems to be that 2021 kind of sucked, just as some wise people predicted. With COVID still raging, it was certainly disappointing. But there’s still time for this year to redeem itself in the final seconds. The Atlanta Falcons can tell you about assuming it’s all over before the clock hits zero.

And, lo and behold, in the last week of 2021, we’re seeing MAGAworld turn on Donald Trump, and it’s too bad I’m back to using Noom again after a few days of Christmas (over) eating, because there’s not enough popcorn in the world for this.
