Christmas movies aren't released in July
Yes, I know the Die Hard-themed Christmas merchandise industry is now larger than Kmart - literally - and that more time is spent writing think pieces arguing about its inclusion in the Christmas movie canon than analyzing Vladmir Putin’s impending invasion of Ukraine. (Simple Justice just added point-counterpoint posts about it.)
And it drives me crazy, for one particular reason:
